An indispensable leader

Imagine if we all sought to be leaders like this:
How different would our institutions be? How different would our communities of faith be? How different would our communities be? How different would our families be?
(video from Seth Godin)

“Official” notes from #thenines

The videos aren’t out yet, but you can now get a copy of the “official” notes from #thenines thanks to Leadership Network and Catalyst.
Download the notes.
If I’m not mistaken, these were the notes that ran alongside the videos as they played.
And according to today’s email update:
…watch THE SHOW next Tuesday, September 29 to find out [...]

Skye Jethani :: Where does our legitimacy come from?

One of my favorite videos from #thenines ::
Skye Jethani asks, “Where does our legitimacy (in ministry and leadership) come from?”
So many good points. So worth the nine minutes.

Notes from #thenines

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing another video from #thenines — from author Sky Jethani.
Pure greatness! Be sure and look for it and watch it. It’s worth all nine minutes.

It’s interesting how sometimes God calls us from one ministry to the other. He may call us to the front lines, only to later call us to move [...]

New leadership podcast

Just found the Threadsmedia Leadership Podcast from Lifeway.
Very good stuff.
Training Tip 5 talks about teaching people with various learning styles. This is a great listen for anyone who leads anyone anywhere.
“Engage every learning style… Engage as many learning styles as possible.”
Some may learn better by listening and taking notes, others may do better with music, [...]
