I’m diggin’ Death Cab for Cutie

Death Cab for Cutie has been coming up more and more on my Muse station on Pandora.
Really starting to dig them more and more. Especially their track, Little Bribes.
I’m wondering — what album(s) are essential for Death Cab for Cutie fans?
What tracks should a new fan look for?

I am an atheist…

I am an atheist when it comes to the god of violent jihad.
I am an atheist when it comes to the lord who converts by the sword.
I am an atheist when it comes to the mission of politicians using religion as ammunition.

I believe in You – the Artist of trees and galaxies.

22 songs about Heaven

Artists always have a great way of bringing out theology through their art.
I always love art that makes me asks questions. That helps me wrestle with life and the tough stuff, the muck and the mire.
Art forces you to re-consider. To look at all of life differently.

Songs of Christmas

Over the years my favorite Christmas songs have changed from year to year.
I remember singing a number of songs growing up, including Come on Ring those Bells, Silent Night, Rudolph, etc. etc. But over the last few years, I think I’ve settled in on my all time favorite.
O Holy Night.

My first CD

Watching the U2 show last night on YouTube with friends from around the world (thanks to Twitter) I was reminded of the first CD I ever purchased.
I received a radio/CD/tape boombox for Christmas in 1991 (maybe 92).

God of this City

Love this version of God of this City by Exodus and Lifechurch.
Love the diversity!
HT Jason Kovacs
Reminds me of the challenge Scott Williams (pastor of NW OKC Campus of Lifechurch.tv) gave during #thenines :: Church Diversity Sucks…
